This is your chance to join the marketing team of a well-established, steadily growing strategy consulting firm that has recently doubled headcount and revenue and is positioned for continued expansion and success. In this role, you will have an opportunity to own processes and outcomes as you develop and execute marketing strategies to increase the awareness, adoption, and revenue of a growing portfolio of products and service offerings for banks, credit unions and fintechs. This is a collaborative role in which you will work closely with the product, sales and client management, and operations teams to develop product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies and assets. If you are a strong marketing professional with experience in B2B marketing and knowledge related to financial services, banking, payments, and/or credit & deposit solutions, this could be a great opportunity for you to build your skillset and take your career to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product marketing strategies and plans to increase product awareness, adoption, and revenue
- Collaborate with the product team and project consultants to understand product features, benefits, and target audience
- Work closely with the sales team to develop effective sales tools, including presentations, leave-behinds, demos, and product training materials
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development, positioning, and messaging
- Develop and manage product launch plans, ensuring successful product and service offering releases
- Develop and manage product messaging, positioning, and value proposition
- Collaborate with the global marketing team to develop product-related content, such as webinars, whitepapers, case studies, and blog posts
- Participate in trade shows and events, representing the company and products/service offerings as warranted
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of product marketing campaigns
Ideal Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and product positioning
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills to measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- Experience in financial services related to banking, credit, deposit, payments products and/or consulting services
