Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Sales, you will lead and develop a team of remote Account Executives to achieve revenue targets and drive growth for the company – a leading provider of prepaid card programs, digital rewards, and incentives that can be delivered to recipients instantly via integrations with a wide variety of SaaS-based applications, including Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, HubSpot, SurveyMonkey, and Marketo. The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales professional with experience in managing and mentoring sales teams, building and implementing sales processes, and achieving sales goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, set clear individual and team sales goals, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to drive performance and growth, while identifying ways to eliminate barriers to success
- Develop and implement sales processes, including lead generation, qualification, discovery methods, and closing techniques that will ensure consistent and effective sales practices across the team
- Collaborate with marketing and other key sales supporting departments to develop and execute targeted demand generation campaigns that drive pipeline growth and support the Account Executives in exceeding their sales targets
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas of improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies, processes, and outcomes
- Work closely with the product team to stay current on product offerings and market trends, and effectively communicate product value to prospective customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, including potential customer accounts, partners, and industry influencers
- Communicate regularly with the executive leadership team to provide updates on sales performance, forecasting, and market trends
- Oversee the creation and execution of sales outreach to promote trade shows and industry events
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and other relevant gatherings (travel may be required)
- Be a product expert. This includes staying up to date with product enhancements and understand how your solutions serve a variety of industry use cases
- Ensure sales team consistently carries the appropriate sales pipeline coverage to achieve annual sales targets
- Ensure consistent and most optimal use of CRM and the available sales technology stack for sales team
- Work with the Sales Development team to optimize the lead generation and hand off process from the SDR team to the Account Executives
- Work with the Client Development sales leader to efficiently and effectively transfer account ownership to ensure an optimal customer experience post sale
Ideal Background:
- 5+ years prior experience in sales management with an exceptional track record of exceeding sales team targets
- Experience in Payments, Incentives, Loyalty, and/or any sort of Financial Technology business is a plus
- Experience in negotiating and closing SaaS deal sizes of at least USD 10k/year in terms of annual contract value (ACV) and sales cycles of 1-3 months
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can liaise effectively with senior stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience using Salesforce
