Join one of the top issuing banks and be the subject matter expert for Financial Industry Partners, FinTech Partners, Program Managers, Processors, and others go to for information and solutions around all non-card payments including everything from Checks and International Remittance to Real-Time Payments and Cryptocurrency (Checks, ACH, EFT, B2B, B2C, P2P, and other Virtual and Emerging Payments). This is an individual contributor role within a team of Product Managers who will grow their team as necessary. As a collaborative person and strong influencer, you will be responsible for development, management, and growth of this diverse portfolio of Non-Card Payment Innovation. Direct and oversee all aspects of product life cycle management including understanding industry research, customer value proposition, market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field and be responsible for managing the strategic product roadmap, product development, product launch, and product marketing in order to gain maximum benefit from each product. Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Create and maintain product roadmap for existing and new products.
  • Partner cross-functionally across the organization to ensure consistent and scalable product solutions as part of the overall payments portfolio.
  • Conduct market research through industry information sources and visits with customers and non-customers. Monitor local, regional, and national market conditions, competition, and trends.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert and key advisor for the organization and its partners and prospects regarding payments industry development with a focus on emerging payment solutions including but not limited to alternative currencies, digital integrated solutions, P2P platforms and the like.
  • Develop and present business cases that identify market requirements and recommend product construct, pricing and positioning to gain support and approval for new product opportunities and enhancements to existing products, services and technology.
  • Define business requirements and drive Agile product development with cross-organizational team. Develop and maintain thorough product documentation.
  • Work with project management, business resources, and development counterparts to define product release requirements.
  • Partner with marketing services to define go-to-market strategy, helping drive understanding of product positioning, pricing, key benefits, and target customer.
  • Develop and implement company-wide and/or business unit go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute as necessary.
  • Analyze and recommend potential business to business partner relationships for the product.
  • Manage and cultivate positive relationships with department staff and support teams throughout company. Coordinate training of staff on managed products and services.
  • Participate in managing budget for assigned products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Ideal Background
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and 5-8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess a strong understanding of payments technology and emerging solutions; Well-connected in the industry with ability to perform research and assess impact and trends.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to implement concepts, ideas and plans while functioning in a flexible, constantly changing environment.
  • Strong collaborator and team player as well as an individual contributor
  • Prior industry experience with payments products strongly preferred.
