In this role, situated within the Payments division of a successful, established Payments & Fintech Sponsor Bank, you will be responsible for facilitating onboarding processes for new Payments partners and programs. You will serve as the subject matter expert for preferred partners and report directly to the Head of Strategic Product Initiatives and Sales Support. If you have some experience in payments and/or card systems and are interested in expanding your sales support, relationship management, product, and project management experience as you help strategic partnerships with innovative Fintechs in the payments world, this could be an excellent opportunity for growth!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Business Development team during new sales cycle by facilitating the onboarding process from third party risk management through the hand off to the Implementation Team.
  • Prepare all onboarding documents for new partner onboarding. 
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for preferred partners. 
  • Serve as the liaison for preferred partners and Sutton business teams.
  • Manage the completion of onboarding documents with the new Program Manager.
  • Facilitate and manage onboarding project milestones.
  • Engage the Implementation Team for a seamless handoff.
  • Provide support during the RFP process and attend sales meetings as needed.
  • Support the Product Manager in the development of new Product constructs and processes.
  • Manage the Salesforce application and be a resource across Payments for ongoing maintenance.
  • Educate the Relationship Team on new products and services.
  • Effectively use Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable software solutions.
  • Comply with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner.
  • Attend all mandatory in-services and staff meetings.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer, organization, and employee information.
  • Maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusting effectively to work with new structures, processes, requirements or cultures.
  • Comply with the Bank Secrecy Act, and Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations.  
Ideal Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both in verbal and written communications, and present information to groups of managers, employees, customers, and the general public.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of the payments industry, products, and associated regulations.
  • Ability to influence peers/partners in other areas to achieve goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in technical writing, to include reports, procedure manuals, policies.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limed standardization exists.
