Program Manager
The Sr. Product Manager, Loyalty and Engagement will cultivate, own, and execute the Loyalty Program roadmap while ensuring alignment across the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams in Sales Channels, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and to ensure the successful rollout, communication, and adoption of new digital solutions and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive loyalty and engagement product strategy aligned to the organization roadmap
  • Lead day-to-day product lifecycle management for Company’s existing rewards and loyalty features (ie, Merchant funded rewards, points programs, family account programs)
  • Serve as the internal and external evangelist for loyalty, working with the sales and account management channels, and key customers like Customer Service, Issuing Banks, and Compliance
  • Identify and analyze key customer motivators via data analysis
  • Interface with customers through field research, usability studies, and surveys to identify/prioritize product needs and ensure an industry-leading loyalty feature set
  • Analyze customer behavior to Provide competitive analysis for market requirements, documents, and launch plans
  • Lead cross-functional design, development, marketing, and business development teams to drive growth in loyalty feature usage and adoption
  • Identify, track, report, and act on key loyalty feature success metrics
  • Partner with the Marketing team to define the go-to-market strategy, product positioning, key benefits, and target customer
  • Analyze potential vendor relationships and evaluate and manage existing relationships
  • Collaborate with product owners to define a clear feature vision and define requirements in an Agile environment
Ideal Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or business; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years payments industry experience
  • 3-5 years in product management or similar role
  • 2+ years loyalty/rewards-related experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success leading product or feature strategy from concept to launch to sunset
  • Inspire and motivate the development teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency
  • Work with key stakeholders across the company to ensure successful product releases
  • Partner with the Marketing team to define the go-to-market strategy, product positioning, key benefits, and target customer
  • Ability to see the big-picture/vision, with the drive to make that vision a reality
  • Experience presenting to and influencing all levels of the organization including C-level executives
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and written and verbal communication skills, and experience working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Must enjoy spending time in the market (with customers and partners) to understand their problems and find innovative solutions for the broader market
  • Experience with customer research methodologies
  • Ability to statistically analyze large volumes of product performance data to deliver actionable, business-relevant insights
  • Experience with commercial SAAS applications, APIs preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, both internally (with all areas of the company) and externally (with customers and partners)
  • Ability to travel - 10%
