As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for enterprise sales, business development and account management for the US/North American market, as you acquire target net-new enterprise accounts, manage existing accounts to strengthen client relationships, and cross-sell to increase wallet share for key accounts. In this key strategic role, you will identify opportunities to help your clients and prospects meet the high demand for quality professional services, IT outsourcing, and software development specific to the Payments Industry. Key Responsibilities:
  • Research the market, generate new business, and qualify relationships for highly complex solutions to enhance company revenues and profits.
    • Create detailed, strategic target account plans to penetrate industry leading clients
    • Penetrate new accounts and grow our existing customer base in the assigned portfolio
    • Perform in-depth client and industry research to create compelling business cases and RFP responses
    • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with key decision makers within the business, operations and the IT organizations.
    • Manage the entire sales cycle from start to finish for delivery of customized business applications to clients on highly complex projects.
  • Identify and oversee the implementation of innovative business development and sales strategies by leveraging service offerings.
    • Interface with internal departments and external partners to develop and implement strategies, plans, and business models.
    • Exercise independent judgment in determining new business courses of action owning the outcomes.
    • Utilize capabilities of being a social media contributor and industry expert 
    • Provide strategic input to product development and delivery executives
    • Leverage cross-functional client and company resources to successfully identify and drive sales campaigns
Ideal Background:

The company is seeking an engaging and motivated enterprise software sales professional driven to make a difference in the way companies connect with their customers.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to sell into and develop new business within an assigned portfolio, consisting of large, complex and strategic accounts.
  • Extensive experience selling enterprise solutions/services to the top 50 U.S. banks, card processors, brokerage and company’s serving the financial markets.
  • Extensive financial services industry knowledge
    • Extensive credit, debit and pre-paid card industry knowledge relating to both issuing and acquiring.  
    • Extensive retail banking industry knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
  • 8+ years of direct sales experience with payment industry-specific expertise
  • The ability to negotiate and explore alternatives and positions to reach outcomes that gain support and acceptance by all parties
  • The capability to actively listen and understand what is said and not said, and comprehend the meaning and intent 
  • The talent to persuade and influence, using appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of thoughts, plans, activities, services and products
