B2B Payments & AP Automation Solutions

Join a well-established provider of innovative payment and AP Automation solutions which has experienced magnificent double-digit growth over the past two years with the introduction of new SaaS-based ePayables solutions. In this outbound solution sales role, you will hunt for new business primarily with Middle Market companies ($50M-$1.5Billion) who are paying their vendors and suppliers by check and deliver user-friendly solutions that help organizations process and pay their B2B disbursements electronically and transform their Accounts Payable departments from loss centers to profit centers. If you excel at outbound solution selling and enjoy a high-tech, entrepreneurial culture with the leadership and resources you need to be successful, this could be a great fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop soft leads into solid opportunities and help define the buyer’s vision and align it with desired outcomes
  • Grow new business by demonstrating and selling the solution to mid-size and large commercial accounts in AP e-payments using virtual cards, ACH, FX, check and AP automation software including P2P and AP workflow/software solutions and partnerships as well as the Intelligent OCR in the Cloud SaaS offering
  • Conduct extensive research to understand potential clients' goals, objectives and challenges - fully understanding our distinctive difference in the marketplace
  • Utilize exceptional consultative selling skills and the ability to communicate the end to end solution effectively to key decision makers within a prospective organization
  • See the process through to the end to close the deal and assist with implementation
  • Understand the different processes with the electronic payment space and how the company’s program can provide effective solutions
  • Deliver accurate, professional and timely communication with potential clients and internal groups
  • Demonstrate the product in a very high-level, technical format
  • Meet required, set sales/revenues targets and sell a complete software solution package for AP
  • Occasional travel (~10%) to handle major accounts and trade shows / conferences
Ideal Background:
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in finance
  • Successful 5+ years selling experience in the corporate payments space and/or AP workflow, P2P software solutions, or AP virtual card payment solutions
  • Must possess a comfort level with and have proven ability to demo software and technology via webinar (i.e. GoToMeeting, video conference), phone and face-to-face
  • Experience selling and conducting demos for financial software strongly preferred
  • Experience selling to large corporate clients at the VP and C-Level
  • Excellent, verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Experience with selling SaaS solutions
  • AP Automation and spend management domain expertise desired
