Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, lead, and develop the account management and sales functions for the North America Division
  • Understand and effectively explain the benefits of electronic payment solutions and the associated business impact for customer stakeholders
  • Lead all aspects of the Sales Process, while enlisting the support of Product Specialists, Implementation, Service, and other Sales and Management Resources
  • Build strong relationships with prospects, while handling objections and advancing and closing new opportunities
  • Partner with Marketing to create and deliver compelling presentations and client artifacts
  • Understand the competitive landscape relative to customer needs, so you can effectively position your solutions
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data 
  • Build account business plans as necessary to target the right people and clearly establish objectives and strategies to penetrate and develop accounts
  • Lead the sales performance management and cadence reviews
  • Establish quarterly & yearly financial quotas, business goals, and objectives for the Issuing Sales and Key Account Management Department
  • Work closely with Product Development Team to propose and develop new initiatives and product enhancements so clients can quickly achieve their objectives 
  • Ensure a seamless transition of customer responsibility to the Account Manager following a successful implementation 
  • Lead the Issuing Sales and Key Account Management Department: recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate Departmental Staff
  • Develop and manage sales budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets
  • Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts and coordinate the management of all other accounts
  • Work with Management Team to develop long-term business plans for the North America Division
  • Travel Requirements:  30% +
Ideal Background:
  • 15+ years’ experience in a consultative B2B sales environment with a preference selling FinTech solutions
  • B.A./B.S. Degree
  • Prior experience in technology and services, preferably in Fintech, Payments, or Consulting 
  • Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment 
  • Effective problem-solving skills, specifically the ability to assess situations, evaluate options, and define strategies
  • Excellent organizational and verbal and written communication skills
  • A team-oriented approach with an ability to form relationships at various levels both internally and externally
  • Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies
  • Experience tracking sales activity in sales CRM, preferably Salesforce.com
  • Experience managing direct reports, with proven motivational and leadership abilities
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
