Mobile Commerce & Omnichannel Payments

This is a unique opportunity to coordinate and execute an enterprise-wide payment strategy spanning payment network acceptance, in-store and digital customer experience, cobranded credit cards, and their new digital wallet solution. If you have strong product development, program management, and project management experience related to mobile commerce and digital wallets, this could be an exciting opportunity for you to apply your expertise in payments and own the P&L for a major strategic initiative with a company that is committed to excellence in providing customers with a seamless, convenient omnichannel payments experience.

  • Create and manage payment strategy product roadmaps, prioritization, and constraints to ensure consistent execution of the product lifecycle process from concept to launch
  • Collaborate with multiple internal teams including digital, finance, legal, marketing, operations and technology to manage existing solutions and to plan, build and deliver new concepts
  • Develop innovative concepts with potential to drive profitable customer and revenue growth and cost savings over 2-5 year timeline
  • Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to drive prioritization of product initiatives
  • P&L responsibility, including managing financial forecasts and long- and short-term financial plans to maximize growth while meeting quarterly and annual financial targets
  • Establish governance and control of payments innovation initiatives with inputs from key stakeholders 
  • Identify new opportunities based on research, industry trends and best practices, while driving innovation in the payments space
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. 
Ideal Background:
  • 10+ years of experience as a product manager in a significant business, product or platform with responsibility for a set of product experiences
  • Relevant experience working in retail banking, payments, e/m-commerce, or with an electronic network provider (e.g., MasterCard, AMEX, Visa)
  • Proven P&L management or prior experience in managing revenue and expense for assigned product
  • Must be data and metrics driven with a “win together” mindset and track record of performance excellence, i.e. consistently delivering exceptional results, exceeding targets and objectives
  • Demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly consumer products
  • Experience with bringing together cross functional teams and leading execution in an agile delivery model
  • Ability to influence stakeholders with diverse points of view and build coalition
  • Structured and strategic thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects and efforts according to business need and industry trends
  • Highly self-motivated and ability to remain calm under intense pressure
  • Ability to travel independently
