In this role, you will review client financial institution vendor contracts, invoices, proposals, internal reports, and trend analysis. Reporting directly to the COO, you will perform research and analysis, gather and analyze data and information, formulate and test hypotheses, and assist with the development of client recommendations. Significant time will be spent performing market research, creating financial analyses, and developing client deliverables in support of senior team members for client engagements. As a Project Analyst, you will have the opportunity to present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members. The Project Analyst will need to be capable of supporting multiple simultaneous projects with time sensitive deadlines and be able to travel occasionally if necessary. If you have 3-6+ years of experience in a Finance Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Accounting, or similar role, this could be an exciting opportunity to take your career to the next level.

Job Overview:
The Project Analyst role as an entrée to the firm through which qualified candidates will develop industry-specific skills required for a long-term career within the company. Project Analysts will serve in an associate role on multiple client engagements and work with executive level colleagues and clients in the financial services industry. Demonstrated skills to advance typically transition into more senior roles including leading client engagements as a project manager.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling primarily using Excel.
  • Organize large quantities of data and documents in a manner to allow for easy access.
  • Assist the project team to develop client facing presentations.
  • Participate in client meetings in a supporting role.
  • Provide effective written and verbal professional communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Possess initiative and a desire to learn and develop new processes.
Ideal Background: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline such as finance or economics preferred.  
  • Excellent analytical skills coupled with an ability to synthesize findings in a written format.
  • Strong technical skills with fluency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other software packages.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting concepts and experience in developing financial models.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and to work in a deadline-driven team environment.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
